Melaleuca Retreat is located on the coast just east of Taree near Manning Point.
Both Melaleuca Retreat and Manning Point are situated on Mitchells Island which lies between the two arms of the Manning River north of Old Bar Beach.
Taree is approximately 300 km by road north of Sydney on the Pacific Highway. Regular bus, train and air services operate into Taree and arrangements can be made to transfer guests to and from the relevant terminals.
From the Pacific Highway take the southern off ramp to Taree and turn east toward Old Bar Beach. Approximately 7km along Old Bar road, turn left onto Manning Point road. The first bridge takes you onto Oxley Island and the second bridge takes you onto Mitchells Island. Approximately 9km after crossing the second bridge, turn right onto Sandridge road and look for the Melaleuca Retreat signs on the left at approximately 2km.
